North Carolina was a Confederate State during the U.S. Civil War: 1861 - 1865.

Since North Carolina was a Confederate state, it is vital for the George Hutchins For U.S. Congress Campaign, to address U.S. Civil War issues which are relevant to the year 2010, and beyond.

The Goal is to remove all of the myths surrounding the U.S. Civil War which exist in the year 2010, by presenting the SOLID FACTS.

Southerners, to include persons born of Southern Parents in North Carolina, have been painted with a FALSE Negative image since the 1960's by Left-Wing Liberals.

It is time to remove this dark cloud which hangs over everyone born of Southern Parents in the United States, to benefit generations yet unborn.
