Fabulous web site! Best I've seen ever for a US House candidate. I agree with everything on the site except the anti-pot logo. To beat the commies in 2010, we need to unite behind the concept of smaller, better government. A government that gets the hell out of the way of the American people and lets us work. Even Reagan didn't mind if adults chose to imbibe pot (otherwise he would have turned in his kids), he just wanted to keep it out the hands of youths.

If someone gets high and steals something, throw the book at them. If someone sells pot to kids, throw the book at them, just like if someone gave kids Jack Daniels. But putting people in jail for merely possessing pot, or smoking it, is hampering our ability to fight real crime. There are thousands of pedophiles, violent psychotics, gang bangers, and other sub-human scum that get turned back out on the streets to commit more crime, because our prisons are too crowded. If we stop putting pot-heads in jail, we will have more room to lock up the actual dangerous sickos, and never let them hear the dogs bark again.  That's the proper way to get tough on crime.

Please note, I am *not* a Libertarian. I am a conservative who listens to Rush Limbaugh every day and votes Republican, and if I lived in NC, I would vote Hutchins!

The use of Marijuana, could become a State Issue, which each individual U.S. State could allow each local government to make this decision.

Persons, under such a system, could influence their State or Local Government, to decide this issue according to their belief systems, through the vote.

If one does NOT like the laws of their State or or Local Government, in respect to this issue, and found legal campaigning has failed to change the law, according to their belief on this issue, such persons can simply move to another State, or Local Government Area of Jurisdiction, which reflects their beliefs.

Outside of medical uses, the GEORGE HUTCHINS For U.S. Congress 2010 Campaign does NOT support the use of Marijuana; but, based on all of the above, we are being very fair on this issue.

So what you are saying is that you would support the end of prohibition of cannabis for responsible adults on a federal level?
