Two Years ago: August 13, 2011,  The BERLIN WALL had turned 50 years old.

Today: August 13, 2013, The BERLIN WALL has turned 52 years old. 

All Information is timeless, important to present-time Western NATO Populations, and vital current for countless generations to come, yet unborn, to remember the hard WON struggles 20th Century NATO nation patriots had fought, to win the COLD WAR against Red Marxist Soviet Communist Forces, who had enslaved large populations trapped behind the IRON CURTAIN, in Eastern Europe, and East Germany, since the close of World War Two, {in Europe}, on May 8, 1945.

AUGUST 13, 2011

The COMMUNISTS put up the BERLIN WALL, across BERLIN, GERMANY, on August 13, 1961, EXACTLY 50 years ago, on this date: August 13, 2011.

On June 12, 1987, U.S. President RONALD REAGAN went to Berlin, Germany, at the site of the BERLIN WALL, near the Brandenburg Gate, and ordered the COMMUNISTS to "TEAR DOWN THIS WALL," in a famous speech, broadcast worldwide.

Between August 13, 1961 through May 2, 1989, several Germans, and East Europeans, were killed by Communist Boarder Guards, while attempting to escape the Communist World, through the BERLIN WALL.

CHRIS GOEFFROY was the last European to be Killed by COMMUNIST Boarder Guards, for attempting to go through the BERLIN WALL, to escape the Communist World, on May 2, 1989. 

 - {The BERLIN WALL opened for limited open civilian traffic on November 9, 1989, which was EXACTLY Six Months and Seven Days Later, after the May 2, 1989, shooting of CHRIS GOEFFROY, by COMMUNIST BERLIN WALL boarder guards}-

The BERLIN WALL opened for the first time, since August 13, 1961, on November 9, 1989, where the COMMUNIST Boarder Guards ceased shooting persons attempting to escape the Communist World through the BERLIN WALL.

The BERLIN WALL officially FELL on October 3, 1990, by International Law, as the BERLIN WALL Fell in stages, since first opening on November 9, 1989.

October 3rd, is an official holiday in Germany, to celebrate the official Fall of  the BERLIN WALL on October 3, 1990, and the official re-unification of Germany since the official close of World War Two in Europe on May 8, 1945.

The August 13, 1961, rise of the BERLIN WALL, was a Victory for the Communist World, during the COLD WAR, which took place officially: 1946 - 1992.

GEORGE HUTCHINS visited Berlin, Germany during 2005, 2006, 2007, and during several extended residing travels during the 1990's.

As COLD WAR allies, countless Germans have become good friends with countless Americans.

As a direct COLD WAR PARTICIPANT, GEORGE HUTCHINS was stationed in West Germany with the U.S. Regular Army, served as a GERMAN-ENGLISH on-site Translator for the U.S. Army in Germany during military operations, in addition to, other military duties, and deployed from his U.S. Army base in Germany, to fight in the 1991 Gulf War, "Operation Desert Storm."

Prior to the 1991 Gulf War, "Operation Desert Storm," GEORGE HUTCHINS witnessed the Fall of the Berlin Wall, in Berlin, Germany, as the Berlin Wall fell in stages, while on official leave travel orders, from the U.S. Army.

=> World War Two British Prime Minister, Sir WINSTON CHURCHILL announces: "An Iron Curtain has set over Europe," due to the fact, the Soviet Russian Communist Red Army intends to occupy Eastern Europe, against the will of MOST Eastern European populations, for countless decades to come, following the official 1945 end of World War Two. [1946]

=> The 1948 Berlin Air-Lift.

=> The U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy, Anti-Communist "Pro-American" period. [1947 - 1957]

Many historians perceive the COLD WAR started before 1946, during the final weeks of World War Two, and during the final weeks, following the official 'May 8, 1945' end of World War Two.

PRE-COLD WAR, {1946 - 1992}, EVENTS:

=> On August 9, 1945, the Soviet Communist Russian Stalinist government, finally declared war against Japan, following the official documented World War Two, 'May 8, 1945,' surrender of Germany, after the U.S. had been at war with Japan since December 7, 1941, which demonstrates the Soviet Russian Stalinist Communists to be a government, which could NOT be trusted by the United States, who ONLY declared war upon Japan, in order to, STEAL land occupied by the Japanese Army in China, when MOST of the World War Two fighting was over, due to the U.S. initial dropping of the Atomic Bomb on HIROSHIMA, Japan during August 6, 1945.

=====> On August 6, 1945, the First U.S. Atomic Bomb was dropped on HIROSHIMA, Japan.

=====> The Second U.S. Atomic Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan on August 9, 1945.

=====> The Soviet Russian Stalinist Communist government, finally declared war on Japan, during August 9, 1945, ONLY AFTER, the U.S. had been at war with Japan since December 7, 1941, where many Americans perceived, the Soviet Russian Communists ONLY declared war on Japan, during the final stages of World War Two, in order to STEAL land occupied by Japanese Army throughout China, which boardered Soviet Communist Russia.

=====> The official World War Two, surrender of Japan, took place on September 2, 1945.

It is very clear, during present year 2011 times, the Russian Soviet Communists, ONLY DECLARED WAR on Japan, ONLY AFTER, the Americans did MOST of the World War Two Fighting, against the Japanese Military, in an effort for the Soviet Communist Russians to STEAL as much land as possible, during the final 1945 days of World War Two, with the plan to expand COMMUNIST jurisdiction in as many nations, as possible, following the official 1945 end of World War Two.

=> Following the official 'May 8, 1945' World War Two surrender of Germany, and prior to the official 1946 start of the COLD WAR, U.S. Soldiers "American G.I.'s," stationed in Post World War Two Germany, had reported to have taken part in several "FIST-FIGHTS," and,or, several "Bar Room Tavern Fights," at German drinking establishments, "German Pubs," AGAINST Red Army Russian Communists Soldiers, because the U.S. Soldiers felt the Russian Red Army Communist Soldiers were "RUDE PIGS," at that time, as reported by countless U.S. Military Veterans, during the decades which followed World War Two.

=> When faced by equal numbers, our "American G.I.'s" WON ALL of these "Bar Room Tavern Pub, FIST-FIGHTS," AGAINST Russian Soviet Communist Soldiers, in Germany, following 'May 8, 1945' throughout to, the official 1946 start of the COLD WAR, as reported by numerous U.S. Military Veterans, who were stationed in Germany, prior to the start of the COLD WAR, as mentioned during the decades which followed World War Two, concerning their post World War Two experiences in Germany.

===> U.S. Army General George S. Patton saw the Soviet Communist Red Military, as as a near future threat to America and to Europe, at that time, during the post World War Two period, and prior to the official COLD WAR period, during the pre-COLD WAR 1946 period.

During the 1991 Gulf War, "OPERATION DESERT STORM," as a member of the U.S. Regular Army,' Second Armored Division (FWD), D17 En, 3rd plt, 1st sqd,' while serving as MECHANIZED INFANTRY, which took over the FRONT-LINE of Combat, throughout southern Iraq and Kuwait, during the second day of the '100 hours' ground battle, {February 24 - 28, 1991}, GEORGE HUTCHINS took very special pride, in the true spirit of "GARRY OWEN," for the fact:

--- U.S. Army General George S. Patton was the original commander of the U.S. Army "Hell on Wheels," Second Armored Division, during World War Two.

Modern U.S. Armored, "U.S. Tank" Forces, are DIRECT descendants of the old U.S. Cavalry, which fought countless battles, against overwhelming hostile enemies, while mounted on horses.

"GARRY OWEN," is an honorable theme from the old horse mounted U.S. Cavalry.

"GARRY OWEN," was painted on the side of some U.S. Tanks, and a few U.S. Armored Vehicles, during the 1991 Gulf War, "Operation Desert Storm."

The U.S. Army Second Armored Division (FWD), during the 1991 Gulf War, "Operation Desert Storm," was a true credit to the old U.S. Cavalry, as well as, the participation of the U.S. Army Second Armored Division during World War Two, under the original command of U.S. Army General George S. Patton.
