The U.S. has had much trouble with France during the Cold War, in respect to assisting NATO to stand up against Soviet aggression, which led to the voluntary boycott of French Products by American citizens, which went beyond the Cold War.

This boycott was so deep, Americans were pouring French Wine into the gutters, and other forms of protest.

FRENCH'S MUSTARD, was asked to change their name by protestors, where a representative of FRENCH'S MUSTARD Corporation stated for the record, the name of the product was just a name, and had no connection with France.

France has had a Immigration problem, worse than the United States, which led to riots of immigrants for a demand for MORE SPECIAL PRIVILEGES, where these riots resulted into property destruction, and assaults on French Citizens, which the French police were unable to control, during recent times.

In former times, when the ANGLO-FRENCH line was broken, during May of 1940, through a swift panzer attack through Belgium, members of the French government were very fast to greet the Germans with their Resume's, which led to a faster rounding up of French Jewish to be sent to Concentration Camps.

The French King, who assisted the United States during the American Revolution, lost touch with his own population, which led to his down-fall and a REIGN of TERROR.

The Statue of Liberty, is a gift to the United States, from the government of France.

It might be fun to vacation in France some day, with some Germans I know who also speak fluent French, due many historical places which I have of interest.

Like many young men, during the early 1980s, I thought about joining the FRENCH FOREIGN LEGION, at one time, when I was in the shape to do so, but was to caught up with many things taking place around me.

France is a very old country, and this is a very deep subject.

To add some serious humor to this subject, when in France be careful, as an American not to order:

=> Snails, Frog Legs, Fish Eggs, and a few other items.

I also have an interest in discussing the FRANCO-PRUSSIAN WAR, which has an influence upon global issues to this date in 2009.
